Discover the secrets of the gajeta falkuša, the ancient wooden fishing boat, a symbol of the thousand-year-old fishing tradition in the town of Komiža and on the island of Vis. Sail with us into the past and experience the world-known historical boat in the Vis archipelago – one of the last ten heavenly oases in the Mediterranean area.
Besides sailing, take a walk along the island of Biševo, climb to the peak of the island of Vis, and enjoy the view over vineyards and olive groves. Pick seasonal herbs and try authentic island products. The island of Vis, besides its natural beauty, has a very rich history. From ancient times Vis has been known as a Greek polis. The Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Slavs, Venetians, Austrians, French and British – have all ruled Vis at different times. Join us and visit the most important historical sites.
8-day tour packages are available. The programme of activities for an 8-day package includes:
Day 1: arrival;
Day 2: Komiža sightseeing, presentation of gajeta falkuša and sailing;
Day 3: sailing around the island of Biševo - Blue cave visit - the village of Poje,
Day 4: sailing around the southern side of the island of Vis / Komiža / Stiniva Bay / Green cave;
Day 5: relaxing,
Day 6: sailing and fishing on the gajeta;
Day 7: Vis discovery tour;
Day 8: Departure.
The package can be booked from March to November for groups of 6 to 12 persons. Available accommodation in 2, 3, 4 or 5-star private houses / apartments and van / jeep transport is available.
